Deborah Cristina Vera-Cruz

Deborah Cristina Vera-Cruz is an experienced professional currently serving as a Programme Support Officer at the IOM - UN Migration since December 2022, where responsibilities include assisting with project coordination for "Enhancing Readmission and Legal Identity Capacity (RELICA)." Prior to this role, Deborah held positions such as Senior Project Coordinator at the European Partnership for Democracy, focusing on social development projects, and Project Coordinator at the Capeverdean Association for the Fight Against Gender-Based Violence, leading the INSPIRED+ project for labor rights of Domestic Workers. Deborah has significant experience from previous roles, including managing the Land Management for Investment Project with Prime Consulting and serving as an IT Consultant for CESO CI Angola and Oxford Policy Management. Educational qualifications include a Humphrey Fellowship from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs and a Master’s in Geographic Information Systems from Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
