Tayyaba Aurangzeb has extensive experience in operations and finance within international development organizations. Currently serving as the Deputy Director of Operations at the International Rescue Committee since March 2016, Tayyaba oversees programs in health, education, disaster risk reduction, emergency response, and livelihoods. Prior roles include Deputy Chief of Party Operations for the USAID-funded Pakistan Reading Project, where responsibilities included managing a $150 million initiative benefiting 1.7 million students across Pakistan. Tayyaba also held significant positions at Save the Children (US) Pakistan Country Office from 1999 to 2016, including Deputy Country Director for Finance & Support Services, managing finance, grants compliance, IT, logistics, and general administration. Early career experience includes roles in finance management at Marriott Hotels. Tayyaba holds an ACCA qualification and has pursued education at Allama Iqbal Open University.
