Tzuyung Douglas Kou

Tzuyung Douglas Kou, PhD, MPH, MA, serves as the Executive Director and Head of Epidemiology, Clinical Safety and Pharmacovigilance at Daiichi Sankyo US since June 2024, following significant leadership roles at BeiGene and Bristol Myers Squibb. An Adjunct Assistant Professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine since 2011, Tzuyung Kou specializes in outcome evaluation and public health policy research, utilizing large healthcare databases. Tzuyung Kou is an active member of the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology, contributing to various committees and special interest groups focused on critical areas such as cancer and drug safety. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Clinical Epidemiology, an MPH in Epidemiology, and an MA in Medical Ethics, all from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, alongside a BA in Biology from Hiram College.
