Eric Simone

Eric Simone is the Founder and CEO of ClearBlade, Inc., a leading Internet of Things (IoT), Edge computing, and AI software company based in Austin, Texas, with a career spanning several decades in technology and management. Since August 2007, Eric has driven innovation at ClearBlade while also serving as the Chair of the Converged Edge Center of Excellence (CECoE) and a member of the Advisory Board for the IoT Community, which focuses on advancing IoT adoption in commercial settings. In addition to leadership roles at ClearBlade and the IoT Community, Eric is the President and Managing Director of Compete Investments and has held key positions at Perficient, Compete Inc., IBM, and Johns Hopkins Hospital, showcasing a strong background in technology, sales, and strategic management. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Purdue University and is recognized as a Distinguished Alumni.
