Matt Powers

Matt Powers is currently the EVP, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at ION Geophysical. Prior to this, they were an attorney at Sidley Austin LLP from March 2012 to August 2013, Mayer Brown from March 2005 to March 2012, and Duane Morris LLP from September 2003 to March 2005. Matt Powers has experience in complex commercial litigation and dispute resolution, real estate markets, and tax and estate planning.

Matt Powers attended the University of Chicago Law School, where they earned their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Prior to law school, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Colorado Denver.
