Carol Wanyeki

Carol Wanyeki has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Carol is currently working as the Director at Tyrian Consulting since February 2017. In March 2022, they joined IoT.nxt as the Business Development Director for East Africa. Prior to this, Carol worked as an Alumni at Antler for a short period in July 2019. Carol also served as the Managing Director at Sodexo from February 2016 to January 2017. Before that, they held the position of Head of Marketing, Service Delivery, & Operations - Carrier Services at Orange Telkom (K) from October 2013 to January 2016. Carol had an extended tenure with Telkom Kenya - Orange, where they served as the Head of B2B Marketing from February 2013 to September 2013 and as the Head of Commercial Management from May 2009 to January 2013. Prior to that, they were the Channel and Marketing Manager for Africa at 3i Infotech from April 2008 to March 2009. Carol also worked as the Strategic Solutions and Partner Manager - East Africa at Neptune Software Plc from April 2007 to April 2008. Their early career includes roles such as Sales Manager - Key Accounts at Sameer Africa Limited (formerly Firestone East Africa (1969) Ltd) from March 2001 to March 2007 and as the Country Manager at East African Courier Ltd - Licensee of Federal Express (FedEX) from February 1999 to February 2001.

Carol Wanyeki completed a Masters degree and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Business Administration and Marketing from an unknown institution between 2009 and 2011. Additionally, they obtained an Executive MBA in Project Management and International Business Management from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) during the same period. Furthermore, Carol holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Marketing/Marketing Management, General from The Catholic University of Eastern Africa, although the specific years of study are unknown.
