Michael Neves

Michael Neves has a strong background in software engineering, with a focus on the energy industry. Michael currently holds the position of Director of Software Engineering at IPT Global since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Siemens Energy as the Head of Software Operations, Process & Safety Consulting from May 2016 to June 2022, where they led the software operations function for a 4-product commercial engineering software portfolio. Before that, they were a Co-founder and led the platform development at Mobius LLC from September 2014 to December 2015, where they successfully launched a cloud-based mobile app platform. Michael also served as the Director of Application Development and Systems Integration at AEI Svcs LLC from January 2005 to April 2014, overseeing custom in-house development projects and third-party application implementations. Additionally, Neves worked at Enron Corp. as the Manager of Application Development from March 1998 to January 2005, leading a development team responsible for supporting Enron's bankruptcy reorganization. Michael began their career as a Senior Technical Consultant at Rexton Interactive Consulting from January 1996 to March 1998, managing IT consulting engagements for oil and gas clients and overseeing application development projects.

Michael Neves received their Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Texas A&M University, where they studied from 1992 to 1995. Additionally, they obtained a certification in CSM from the Scrum Alliance in February 2016.
