Ian Moorhouse

Project Manager at Iqarus

Ian (Icky) Moorhouse has a diverse work experience history. Ian (Icky) began their career in 1985 with MOD as an MSO, where they worked until 2015. From 2014 to 2019, they also served as an Examiner - Dip IMC at The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Following this, Ian joined the University of Chester in 2015 as a Clinical Skills and Simulation Educator until 2020. In 2017, they also started working as a Paramedic at the North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust, a role they held until 2020. Currently, Ian is working at Iqarus, starting in 2020, where they have held the positions of TL from 2020 to 2021 and is currently serving as a Project Manager since March 2021.

Ian (Icky) Moorhouse pursued their education with a strong focus on healthcare and teaching. In 1999, they attended the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and obtained a Post Graduate Diploma (DiplMC RCSEd) in Immediate Medical Care. Following this, from 2001 to 2005, Moorhouse attended Swansea University, where they achieved a Bachelor's of Science (Honours) degree in Pre-Hospital Care. In 2016, they furthered their academic pursuits by enrolling in the University of Chester and earned a Post Graduate Certificate in Teacher Education and Professional Development, Specific Levels and Methods, which they completed in 2017.
