Robert van Kuik

Robert van Kuik has a strong background in network engineering and consulting. Robert currently works at Irdeto as a Senior Network Automation Engineer. Prior to this, they worked at Westcon-Comstor as a Network Engineer/Consultant, where they provided customer support, delivered project services, and conducted pre-sales support. Robert also gained extensive experience at Verizon Business, where they held roles as a Senior Network Specialist and Designated Customer Network Engineer, responsible for managing network services and performing changes for top managed services customers. Earlier in their career, they worked at ING as a Network Engineer, managing the LAN and WAN network infrastructure. Robert began their career at KPN, where they worked in various roles including Senior Field Support Engineer Multivendor, Senior Field Engineer, and Field Engineer, gaining expertise in installation, testing, and commissioning of network systems and services.

Robert van Kuik attended Vereniging Elektrotechnisch Vakonderwijs (VEV) te Nijkerk from 1994 onwards, where they pursued a degree in Technicus Communicatie Systemen with a focus on Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering. In addition to their degree, Robert obtained several certifications from Cisco, including Cisco Certified Networking Professional -Enterprise in July 2014, Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Advanced Infrastructure Implementation in July 2014, Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Core in July 2014, and Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA Routing and Switching) in November 2002. Most recently, in June 2022, they obtained the certification of Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise SD-WAN Implementation.
