Joanne Griffin

Joanne Griffin has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2009, they worked as an Interim CFO at RGP before transitioning to Flogas as a Senior Financial Controller, where they managed finance operations. In 2010, they became a Technology Committee Member at Chartered Accountants Ireland, contributing to the development of IT-related curriculum and providing guidance on emerging technology issues. From 2013 to 2019, Joanne held multiple roles at LinkedIn, including Finance Director and Global Program Manager. Joanne also served on the Board of Directors and was responsible for global process ownership and optimization. In 2017, they joined CWIT Ireland as a Steering Committee Member and participated in initiatives to support women in the tech industry. In 2020, Joanne founded Humology, an organization focused on discussing the implications of advancing technology, and AdaptIQ, dedicated to preparing teams for the future of work. Joanne Griffin has a diverse education history. Joanne attended Scoil Chaitriona from 1987 to 1992, where they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. After completing their secondary education, Joanne enrolled at Dublin City University from 1992 to 1995 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting & Finance with Honors.

Continuing their education, Joanne pursued a Master of Business Studies degree in Accounting at Dublin City University from 1996 to 1997. Afterward, they attended Chartered Accountants Ireland from 1997 to 1999, gaining the professional designation of FCA (Fellow Chartered Accountant).

In addition to their formal education, Joanne has acquired several additional certifications throughout their career.
