Marco Arteaga

Marco Arteaga is an experienced culinary professional and entrepreneur currently serving as the Company Owner of LA LOCA TORTA since December 2018, where the focus is on providing excellent Mexican cuisine and service. In addition, Marco has been the Executive Chef at Island Resort & Casino since September 2013, overseeing daily operations, menu development, and cost control while also executing training programs in kitchen safety. Previous roles include Executive Sous Chef at Island Resort & Casino, Line Chef at Dew Drop Inn, Kitchen Manager/Chef at Burrito Bueno/Bueno Bar, and Sous Chef at The Cheesecake Factory. Marco's career began as a Line Cook at Mama Mias and also includes experience as a CNC Machinist at Stewart Manufacturing LLC. Educated in Business Administration and Management at Bay de Noc and Bay College in Escanaba, MI, Marco continues to enhance skills in both culinary and business management.
