Position Summary:
ISlide is a rapidly growing footwear company uniquely positioned with a custom, print on-demand business model servicing retail, wholesale, and other customers, both large and small. ISlide has licenses from the premier sports and entertainment organizations including the NBA, MLB, NHL, MLS, and Nickelodeon. The company sells to major companies like Fanatics, Dicks Sporting Goods, and BSN Sports, among many others. The Marketing Manager is a key leadership position responsible for driving revenue growth for the company. This position reports to the CEO and provides critical input into the company’s strategic direction. The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading a team of brand and content professionals to successfully meet the company’s annual goals and objectives.
Essential Functions:
- Manage and support all the company’s marketing channels, including the company website, social media, advertising, email, and public relations activities
- Design, develop and implement creative marketing campaigns in collaboration with our internal sales team and the major sports leagues and entertainment companies
- Drive revenue growth with the company’s Licensing, Team, and Brand sales divisions and with key channel partners such as Fanatics, Dicks Sporting Goods, and BSN Sports, among others
- Generate revenue on ISlide’s e-commerce website by drawing customers to the website, building a positive customer experience, and managing the merchandising of the company’s products
- Design and develop ISlide’s digital marketing strategy and define KPIs to measure performance and return on investment (ROI)
- Successfully lead product marketing launches and be a key participant in product development strategy
- Develop and successfully lead the company’s video, photo, and design content generation with the internal team and various outsourced partners
- Create and manage campaigns across all marketing channels monthly, quarterly, and annually based on global and company trends in the footwear market
- Create and manage collaborations with athletes, celebrities, and influencers in support of the company’s mission
- Manage a team of 3+ employees and provide continuous professional development
- Create and determine marketing department budgets according to company projections, especially for digital advertising and outsourced agencies
- Present to and influence all levels of the organization as a direct report of the CEO and member of the executive team
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field
- 3+ years relevant experience required including demonstrated success with e-commerce and/or social media marketing
- Strong management, organization, and planning skills
- Strong listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proven experience meeting or exceeding key performance targets
- Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs
- Strong communication skills in English; including listening, speaking, writing
