Pedro Araújo

Pedro Araújo has had a varied career in the tech industry, starting with a role as a Web Developer at Cápsula in 2008. Pedro then moved to Eurotux, SA in 2009 as a Junior Programmer, and then to WeDo Technologies in 2011 as a Developer/Analyst. In 2012, they co-founded NovaWeb, and in 2013 they joined Network Locum as a Senior Python/Django Developer. In 2015, Pedro co-founded Attentive.us and served as CTO, with responsibilities including ensuring the tech team was aligned with the business and providing the right tools to get the job done. In 2020, Pedro joined Issuu as an Engineering Manager and Integration Engineer.

Pedro Araújo obtained a Masters in Informatics from Universidade do Minho in 2010, specializing in Parallel and Distributed Computing and Formal Methods in Software Engineering. In 2008, they also completed a course in Liderança at Academia Militar. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor in Computer Science from Universidade do Minho in 2008, with a focus on Informatics and Mathematics. Pedro's educational journey began in 1993 when they attended Colégio D. Diogo de Sousa.
