Steven Bouma

Steven Bouma has worked in a variety of roles in the software engineering and multimedia industries. In 2009, they founded Umabo ICT and Steven Bouma Drums. In 2010, they became an Assistant at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, where they were involved in courses such as Scientific Visualization, Software Analysis and Design, Software Engineering, Computer Architecture and Networks, Algorithms, Imperative Programming (C Programming), and IT orientation. In 2013, they became a Game Developer at MAD Multimedia. From 2019 to 2022, they worked as a Technical Lead and Fullstack Developer at Issuu. In 2022, they founded Bouma Software Engineering B.V.

Steven Bouma began their education in 2003, when they attended Hanzehogeschool Groningen / Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen, where they received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Music in 2008. Steven then moved on to the University of Groningen, where they earned a BSc in Computing Science in 2011 and a Master's Degree in Computing Science in 2014.
