Dmitriy Gak

Dmitriy Gak currently serves as the VP of Engineering at Istari since August 2023. Prior to this role, Dmitriy was the Head of Engineering at Stripe from January 2022 to August 2023, and held the position of Senior Software Development Manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS) from April 2021 to February 2022, where leadership involved Capacity Engineering for the AWS EC2 Core Platform. Before that, Dmitriy was a Senior Director of Software Development at Oracle from May 2016 to April 2021, contributing significantly to the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) organization and establishing the CICD Lifecycle Tooling organization. Dmitriy also has experience as a Software Development Manager at AWS, Director of Technology at Thomson Reuters, Director of Content Solutions at EPAM Systems, and Software Architect at the New York Times. Dmitriy began a career in technology as a Senior Software Engineer at Telcordia Technologies and Bookspan, LLC. Dmitriy earned degrees from Brooklyn College between 1995 and 2000.
