Antonio Gutierrez

EVP, Operations at ITG Brands

Antonio Gutierrez is currently the EVP of Operations at ITG Brands. Antonio has extensive experience in the tobacco industry, having served as the Manufacturing Director for Altadis-Imperial Tobacco, the Operations Director for Cigar & USA at Imperial Tobacco, and in various other positions in the Cigars BU at Altadis.

Gutierrez began their career in 1995 as a research fellow at Universidad de Sevilla, where they worked on developing advanced control structures for industrial processes. Antonio authored a paper on robust adaptive control for processes with bounded uncertainties that was presented at the European Control Conference in 1995.

In 2006, Gutierrez joined Altadis as Manufacturing Director for the Cigar Business Unit. In this role, they oversaw cigar operations in Europe, the Philippines, and Cuba. Four years later, they joined Imperial Tobacco as the Operations Director for Cigar & USA. In this role, they were responsible for hand-made premium cigar, machine-made cigar, and cigarette manufacturing operations across 7 locations in the USA, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Honduras, Spain, and Philippines.

Gutierrez has been with ITG Brands since 2015 and currently serves as EVP of Operations. In this role, they are responsible for leading the company’s manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain functions.

Antonio Gutierrez has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from CPA (Group HEC - School of Management), a Master degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidad de Sevilla, and they completed a Leadership Program at WEST POINT Military Academy from THAYER LEADER DEVELOPMENT GROUP.

They are on a team with Adam Britner - EVP, Financial Planning & CFO, Alexander Mueller - SVP, Business Intelligence & Insights, and Rob Wilkey - EVP, Legal, Regulatory & External Affairs & General Counsel. Their manager is Kim Reed, President & CEO.
