Markus Enders

As Vice President and Chief Risk Officer, Markus Enders is responsible for ensuring efficiency and optimal performance of risk management in investment processes and corporate management.

Mr. Enders began his career with Hypovereinsbank Group in 1993. For more than 15 years, he held various positions in the real estate finance industry, including in Frankfurt, Prague, Munich, Paris and London. Until early 2009, he was Head of Real Estate Credit Risk Management for Europe at Hypo Real Estate Bank International and Executive Officer Responsible for Credit for Hypo Real Estate Group. In February 2009, he joined Helaba as Head of Mortgage Loans. Since 2013, he was responsible for the management of mortgage credit risks. He was also chairman of the advisory board of Helaba Gesellschaft für Immobilienbewertung mbH and a member of the supervisory board of OFB Projektentwicklung GmbH.

Mr. Enders holds an MBA from the University of Bayreuth (with distinction), Germany. He is fluent in French, English and German.
