Erik Gilson

Erik Gilson has worked in the software development field since 2009. In 2009, they were a Co-Op Employee at Toyota, where they worked within a group of engineers to design and build software solutions to increase workflow through the department, scheduled meetings and worked with different team's members world wide in order to get feed back on prototyped software and improve it for global usage, and creating tools to display reporting statistics and automatically notify the correct people of issues that need to be taken care of. From 2011 to 2016, they worked at Infor, first as a Software Engineer and then as an Associate Software Engineer. During this time, they developed and maintained both JSON and RIA services for server side applications, designed and developed the server side component to create and deliver Crystal Reports reports, and interfacing it with other applications, and developed standalone applications for administering databases in both SQL (2005,2008,2012) and Oracle(9i,10g,11g). From 2016 to 2021, they worked at Morgan 6 - Warriors First as a Senior Software Engineer. During this time, they developed and maintained both Weblogic and Spring Boot applications of a range of topics, implemented JMS services between external services, including working on maintaining XML standards and enforcement, message processing, and trouble shooting messaging issues in a production environment, and worked with a wide range of testing suites, including automated or self built integration testing solutions for mimicking real world applications. Erik currently works at J-Mack Technologies as a Senior Software Developer Team Lead, where they are responsible for the same duties as their previous role at Morgan 6 - Warriors First.

Erik Gilson attended Plymouth Canton Community Schools from 2002 to 2006. Erik then attended the University of Michigan-Dearborn from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a degree in Computer Science (CIS).
