Lori Harris

Lori Harris has a diverse range of work experience. Lori is currently employed as a Learning Experience Designer at Jackrabbit Learning Experience, where they are responsible for driving the quality and delivery of technical products for enterprise partners. This role requires their to verify instructional scaffolding and debug code labs using their knowledge of Javascript, Python, and Kotlin.

Prior to their current role, Lori worked at 2U in multiple positions. As a Quality Engineer, they drove the quality and delivery of technical products across various university partners. Lori also developed cross-product issue tracking technology that significantly improved bug resolution velocity. In their role as a Program Support Manager, Lori developed strategic initiatives based on satisfaction and retention KPIs, created troubleshooting guides, and served as the primary liaison between instructional and curriculum development teams. Additionally, in their position as a Curriculum Engineer for FinTech Bootcamps, they updated program documentation, collaborated with the FinTech team on content writing, and provided support to students and instructional staff.

Before joining 2U, Lori worked as a Senior Tutor for Data & FinTech Bootcamps, where they mentored students, taught coding concepts, and broke down complex problems for individual learning levels. Lori also served as a Teaching Assistant for Data Analytics and Visualization at UNC Chapel Hill, instructing and mentoring students in various analytics technologies such as Python, Pandas, Jupyter, and Tableau.

Lori also gained experience as a Freelance Developer at Data Play Consulting, where they developed full-stack applications and data analysis solutions. During this time, they created Python programs for scraping tax records and determining new listings on websites.

Earlier in their career, Lori worked at Apple Realty as a Data Analyst, Project Manager, and Marketing Coordinator. In this role, they launched the company website, automated showing schedules, and led a virtual showings project to attract out-of-state and out-of-country prospects. Prior to that, they worked as an Assistant Property Manager at Weinstein Properties, managing maintenance technicians and leasing staff, training new consultants, and conducting marketing analysis.
