Serge Huber

CTO & Co-Founder at Jahia

Serge Huber has a strong background in technology and software development. Serge co-founded and served as CTO at Jahia since 2002, where they were involved in the design and development of their Java-based WCM, portal, and DMS software. Serge helped evolve the software into a large-scale enterprise solution that can be used by hundreds of thousands of users. Prior to this, they co-founded Xo3 SA in 1999 and served as CTO, where they directed the development of server-based products and participated in the Apache Jetspeed project. Serge also worked at MyComponents in 2000 as CTO, where they focused on the development of technology for hot pluggable distribution of web applications and co-created the Jahia Java-based CMS. Before that, they served as the Head of Development at Vassalli, Romy & Associates from 1998 to 1999, where they participated in the development of the Delphi-based Bahia product, one of the first CMS products available at the time. The Bahia product was successfully deployed at the Geneva section of the Internet Society and various companies.

Serge Huber obtained their Masters Degree in Computer Science Engineering from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 1993 to 1999. Prior to that, they completed their Maturité Fédérale in Science at Gymnase de Nyon from 1990 to 1993.
