Brooke Dexter

Brooke Dexter has a diverse range of work experience. Brooke worked as the Co-Chair of the Marketing & Communications Committee at The American Institute of Architects (AIA) in 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Communications at Field Operations starting in 2021. Brooke also held roles as a Marketing Coordinator and Marketing & Business Development Assistant at the same company. In 2019, Brooke worked as the Communications Manager at The Gowanus Studio Space, where they managed internal communications and website maintenance. Brooke was also a part of the AIA New York Civic Leadership Program as a Civic Leader in 2021. Earlier in their career, Brooke worked as a Marketing & Graphics Associate at SITU and an Installation Intern at BRUSH. Brooke also gained experience as an Assistant to the Director at the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy and as a Designer at the Michiganensian Yearbook. Additionally, they worked as a Graphic Design Consultant at Alpha Rho Chi, where they redesigned a history book and incorporated graphic timelines. Brooke's work experience also includes a role as a Residential Counselor for ArcStart at the Taubman College of Architecture + Urban Planning, University of Michigan.

Brooke Dexter has an education history spanning from 2006 to 2016. Brooke attended South Lyon East High School from 2006 to 2010 and obtained their high school diploma. Following that, they pursued their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Architecture from the University of Michigan, graduating in 2014. Brooke continued their education at the same university and completed their Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) degree between 2014 and 2016.

In addition to their formal education, Brooke obtained a certification as an Assoc. AIA (Associate of the American Institute of Architects) from The American Institute of Architects in May 2021.
