Johvonna Murray-Bradshaw

Johvonna Murray-Bradshaw has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Johvonna is currently working at Jaza Energy as the Business Operations Lead, where they focus on bringing solar energy to communities without electricity. Prior to this, they were a Black Wealth Club Fellow at the Black Wealth Club, a Canadian group aimed at supporting black individuals in wealth generation and community reinvestment.

Johvonna has also worked at Tesla, starting as an Associate Technical Project Manager and progressing to Sr. Technical Project Manager. In these roles, they managed technical projects and collaborated with external vendors to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of electric vehicles. Johvonna also worked as a Mechatronics Engineering Advisor at Uncharted Power, contributing their expertise in engineering.

Earlier in their career, Johvonna served as a Technical Project Manager and Systems Design Engineer at Beach Cleaning Automated, overseeing the development of an autonomous robot for beach cleaning. Johvonna also worked as an Electromechanical Engineer at Tesla, where they managed coating techniques to enhance electrical conductivity in electric vehicles. Additionally, they worked as an Electrical Engineer at Rapyuta Robotics and a Software Engineer at Quanser Inc., gaining experience in PCB design and software development, respectively.

Johvonna began their career as a Tooling Design Engineer at DYNA MIG, where they designed tooling for mass production of forged steel parts. Johvonna also worked as a Biomedical Engineer at Soochow University, focusing on the design and development of medical devices.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Johvonna has obtained certifications in National Lifeguard and CPR-C from the Lifesaving Society in 2012, as well as Canoeing Level 2 from ORCKA in 2010.
