Lorraine Viljoen

Lorraine Viljoen has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles. Lorraine is currently serving as the Head of Finance at JENOPTIK since October 2022. Previously, they worked at United Exports as the Financial Director from September 2017 to November 2021. In this role, they were responsible for monthly reporting, statutory reporting, internal audit, and financial planning and analysis.

Before that, Lorraine owned an auditing/accounting firm, Enslins Pretoria, where they provided accounting and tax services for various small businesses from August 2014 to August 2017.

Lorraine also worked at Absa Bank as the Head of Business, Planning & Analysis from April 2013 to July 2014, where they were responsible for financial reporting, performance analysis, and funding analysis.

Lorraine started their career at Goldman Sachs as an Associate in Product Control, where they worked from November 2006 to October 2012. Lorraine'srole included financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis of firm funding activities.

Lorraine began their professional journey at Enslins Bethlehem in 2000, where they served as a Senior Manager. Lorraine handled audit planning, managed audit teams, and provided financial reporting and tax planning services to clients.

Lorraine Viljoen's education history began in 1995 when they attended Paul Erasmus High School in Senekal. After completing their high school education in 1999, they went on to pursue a degree in Accounting and Business/Management, with a focus on Auditing, at the University of South Africa. Lorraine graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce in 2003. In 2004, Lorraine continued their studies at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, earning a BCompt - Hon degree in Accounting and Finance, as well as Auditing. Finally, in 2005, Lorraine attended the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants, where they obtained a Chartered Accountant certification.
