Yianni Bares

Yianni Bares has a range of work experience in the software engineering field. Yianni started their career as a Software Developer Intern at Westpac New Zealand in November 2018, where they worked until November 2019. After that, Yianni joined Xero in February 2020 as a Graduate Software Engineer, and later transitioned to the role of Associate Software Engineer in February 2021. Yianni worked at Xero until May 2022, during which they served as a Software Engineer. Currently, Yianni is employed at JobAdder as a Software Engineer, starting from May 2022. Yianni has recently been promoted to the role of Senior Full Stack Engineer as of July 2023.

Yianni Bares obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (First Class Honours) degree in Software Engineering from The University of Auckland. Yianni attended the university from 2016 to 2019. In addition to their degree, Yianni also holds a certification as an AWS Certified Developer - Associate from Amazon Web Services, which they obtained in January 2021.
