Estee Tee has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. They started their career as a Summer Intern at CSIRO in 2011. From 2012 to 2014, Estee worked as a Research Technician and later as an Administrative Assistant for the ARC Centre of Plant Energy Biology. In 2014, they became a PhD Student at The Australian National University and also took on roles as a Laboratory Demonstrator and a Course Coordinator. Estee continued their academic journey as a Postdoctoral Fellow and then as a Postdoctoral Researcher at The Australian National University and John Innes Centre respectively. They also gained experience in the publishing industry as an Assistant Features Editor at The Plant Cell. Prior to their academic pursuits, Estee worked as a Beauty Consultant at Estee Lauder at David Jones and as a Sales Assistant at Michael Hill. Estee Tee's education history includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Molecular Plant Science from The Australian National University, which was obtained between 2014 and 2019. Prior to that, Estee completed a Bachelor of Science (Honours) and a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) at the same institution, specializing in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, Plant Science, and Psychology, from 2009 to 2013.
