Christoph Funke

Christoph Funke began their work experience as a Manufacturing Engineer at LUK (UK) LIMITED in 1993. Christoph then held the position of Technical Planning Manager from 1995 to 1998. From 1998 to 1999, they worked as a Process Analysis Specialist at LuK GmbH & Co. In 1999, they joined LuK Inc. as the Director of Torque Converter Manufacturing. In 2001, Christoph became the Managing Director and Plant Manager at Fresenius Hemocare BV, a position they held until 2004. From 2004 to 2008, they served as the Managing Director and Plant Manager at Fresenius Kabi. Christoph then held various executive roles at Fresenius Kabi, including Senior Vice President, Executive Vice President, and Chief Operations Officer. In 2021, they joined Strides Pharma Science Limited as the Chief Operations Officer, overseeing manufacturing sites, supply chain management, and business transformation towards a B2B strategy.

Christoph Funke holds a degree in Design Engineering, obtained from the South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences in 1993. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications in different areas. These include the completion of the Executive Financial Business Training program at INSEAD Executive Education in 2002, the Executive Management Training at SGMI Management Institut St. Gallen in 2004, and the completion of the Organizational Development Research Alumni & High Commitment/High Performance Leadership Training program at TruePoint in 2005.
