We are looking to add an Associate Marketing Manager to our team. You will be working closely with the head of marketing to optimize our performance marketing channels, design and publish creative content assets, and manage website content as we continue to grow website traffic, expand patient offerings, and grow Joyous brand awareness. As the Associate Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for analyzing our Google Ads campaigns for optimization opportunities, implementing updates on a daily/weekly basis, and making recommendations for landing page improvements and A/B testing. Additionally, you will get to design creative assets for Joyous social channels, website, and email campaigns to support our go-to-market efforts and overall patient experience. This is a great opportunity to mix creativity and data-driven performance skills to make a direct impact on conversion rates, paid channel performance, and help us make a positive impact on the lives of patients who need Joyous the most.

Location:

  • This role will be located onsite at our HQ in San Mateo, CA

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize Google Ads search, PerformanceMax, and display campaigns, identifying untapped opportunities for growth and CPA improvement
  • Responsible for keyword expansion, Google Ads optimizations, and landing page testing
  • Monitor and analyze key metrics and trends to gauge channel performance, conversion rates, and develop actionable insights to support patient growth
  • Graphic design for Facebook/Instagram social assets, website assets, and static email creatives
  • Work cross functionally with product, copywriters, and photographers to develop fresh, engaging creative assets that capture the Joyous brand and drive understanding of our products and services
  • Help managing website content, building new landing pages from existing templates, publishing blogs, and SEO
  • Assist with Meta Ads campaign optimizations 

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 6+ years of progressive marketing experience in a high impact startup environment
  • 5+ years of experience managing Google Ads campaigns (search, display), with a thorough grasp of paid channel platform capabilities and new optimization features
  • 3+ years managing website content on platforms like Webflow, Framer, WordPress, or Wix (we use Webflow)
  • Personal or professional experience designing static creatives for Instagram, Facebook, or general graphic design using software like Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Express, InDesign, or Canva  
  • Data driven mindset and experience using analytics tools like Google Analytics (GA4) or LookerDataStudio to report campaign performance and develop optimization recommendations 
  • Able to develop and manage agile tests for conversion rate optimization and continuous learning
  • Creative, empathetic, and passionate about mental health and creative marketing strategies
  • Passionate about the psychedelics space and larger positive impact of psychedelics in medicine and beyond
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments, exhibiting self-starting tendencies and a proactive approach to problem-solving
