Daniel Ayala

Daniel Ayala has been working in the field since 2012. Daniel began their career as a Student Research Assistant IV at the University of California, Davis, where they focused on the development of human urinary biomarkers to assess the extent of naphthalene exposure. In 2013, they were an Chemistry Intern at E. & J. Gallo Winery. From 2014 to 2021, they held the roles of Senior Criminalist and Criminalist at the California Department of Justice. Currently, they are a Senior Research Associate at Oobli (formerly Joywell Foods).

Daniel Ayala obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Southern California in 2011. Daniel then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Forensic Science from the University of California, Davis, which they completed in 2014.
