Jason McFarland

Jason McFarland has a total work experience of more than 20 years. Jason started their career at the University of Missouri Healthcare and University of Missouri Columbia Campus, where they worked as a Systems Security Analyst and later as a Programmer/Analyst. During this time, they installed, configured, and maintained network equipment and servers, developed a test lab for the Information Security team, ensured data integrity, and provided data through query of databases. Jason also composed scripts using Perl and shell to automate manual processes.

In 2012, Jason joined Symplified, Inc. as a Senior Support Engineer, where they supported the company's SaaS Single Sign On solution and troubleshooted OS, network, and authentication level issues. Jason worked with both VMware and AWS virtual machines.

In 2014, Jason moved to RSA, The Security Division of EMC, where they worked as a Senior Systems Integration Engineer. Jason contributed to the development of products through the software lifecycle, developed scripts to automate the deployment and configuration of cloud hosted servers, and deployed test and development systems in Microsoft Azure and vCloud.

Since 2017, Jason has been working at JumpCloud, where they initially served as the DevOps Team Lead and later transitioned into the role of Engineering Manager in August 2019.

Jason McFarland obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Columbia College in 2017.
