Eugene Matthysen

Eugene Matthysen is an experienced Technical Project Manager currently with Karpowership since June 2021. Prior to this role, Eugene served as a Senior Project Manager at ADC Projects (Pty) Ltd from December 2015 to May 2021, managing various electrification projects with a focus on project planning, team motivation, risk management, and ensuring client satisfaction. Earlier experience includes positions as Project Manager at Trans-Africa Projects from August 2011 to November 2015, ONYX INTERIORS from January 2007 to September 2009, and STREAMLINE PROJECTS LIMITED from October 2003 to December 2006, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing construction projects, compliance with regulations, and managing project teams. In terms of education, Eugene holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management from Regent Business School and a National Diploma in Civil Engineering from Unisa, along with professional registration with the Project Management Institute and a Diploma in Project Management from the University of Pretoria.
