Johanne Fortin

Director, Legal, Socio-Judicial & Municipal Management Department at Kativik Regional Government

Johanne Fortin is the current Director of the Legal, Socio-Judicial & Municipal Management Department at Kativik Regional Government. Johanne has previous experience working as a Project Manager with the International Rescue Committee and as a Regional Director with Penal Reform International. Johanne Fortin is also a lawyer, and has worked as a Human Resources Advisor for the Legal and Human Rights Center.

Johanne Fortin studied at the Université du Québec - Ecole nationale d'Administration publique, where they earned a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in international management. Johanne also holds a post-graduate diploma in civil law from the Université de Montréal, as well as a Bachelor of Laws from the same school. Fortin is also certified by the Barreau du Québec as a lawyer.
