Kurt Wong

Kurt Wong has extensive work experience in the field of research and biotechnology. Kurt is currently working at KBio as a Principal Scientist/Director since September 2022. Prior to that, Kurt worked at United Therapeutics Corporation where they held two roles: Head of iPSC Differentiation Program from March 2021 to present, and Research Project Lead focusing on NK cells and In Vivo Biology from March 2018 to March 2021. Before joining United Therapeutics Corporation, Kurt was a Research Project Lead at Synthetic Genomics from April 2016 to March 2018, and a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California San Diego from January 2013 to March 2016. Kurt also gained experience as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at The Scripps Research Institute from September 2009 to December 2012.

Kurt Wong obtained their Honours BSc degree in Immunology from the University College at the University of Toronto from 1999 to 2003. Kurt further pursued their education at New York Medicine Jobs from 2004 to 2009, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Medical Parasitology.
