Matt Deter

Matt Deter has a diverse work experience in various roles related to energy consulting and business development. Matt most recently worked as the Director of Business Development at Kepler51 Analytics, where they focused on creating safer environments through innovative data solutions. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Energy Officer at Energy MD, assisting customers in reducing energy consumption. Matt also worked as an Energy Efficiency Consultant at Onsite Energy and as the Director of Sales & Marketing at MelRok, LLC. Matt has experience in the energy industry and has contributed to companies such as Stem, Inc., CarCharging, Southern California Edison, TelePacific Communications, Cisco, and CalFirst Leasing Corporation in various sales and account management roles.

Matt Deter has a diverse education history with a focus on project management and business. In 2012, they attended the University of California, Irvine, where they obtained a Project Management Certification. Prior to that, they attended Chapman University from 2000 to 2002, earning a Bachelor of Science degree with a emphasis on Marketing and Finance. Before attending Chapman University, Matt attended Saddleback College from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained an Associates Degree in General Education. Their earliest education was at Dana Hills High School from 1995 to 1997, where they completed their General Education. Additionally, Matt received a Project Management Certification from UC Irvine in March 2014.
