Program Manager at Kibo School

Emeka Okonkwo has worked in a variety of roles in the past few years. In 2021, they began working at Kibo School as a Program Manager and Marketing Associate. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at Smoothie Express Nigeria as a Sales & Marketing Manager, Customer Experience Manager, and Customer Experience Partner. In 2017, they worked at West Africa Vocational Education (WAVE) as an Internal Support Intern. At Smoothie Express, they were responsible for spearheading marketing campaigns and supervising the management of the brand's outreach team, as well as creating communication for various channels. As Customer Experience Manager, they were responsible for managing the affairs of all of the Customer Service Representatives in the use of the CRM and effective resolution of customer concerns. At WAVE, their major responsibility was sorting, inputting, and analyzing of data, as well as collecting of client's feedback to improve service delivery.

Emeka Okonkwo is currently pursuing a B.Sc in Mass Communication/Media Studies at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), which they began in 2019 and is expected to complete in 2023. Emeka also has multiple certifications, including "Future Proof with Python" from Kibo School (obtained in August 2021), "HR Bootcamp Accelerator" from Kendor Consulting Ltd (obtained in April 2021), "Human Resources: Payroll" from LinkedIn (obtained in March 2021), "Connecting with Executives" from LinkedIn (obtained in January 2021), "HR as a Business Partner" from LinkedIn (obtained in January 2021), "Human Resources Foundations" from LinkedIn (obtained in January 2021), "Understanding Business" from LinkedIn (obtained in January 2021), and "Fundamentals of Human Resources Management" from Udemy (obtained in December 2020).
