Darren Short

Darren Short has a diverse work experience in the learning and development field. Darren is currently the Director of Learning and Development at Kids in Need of Defense (KIND), where they lead a team of professionals and drives the learning strategy for the organization. Prior to this, they founded ALLbyPODCAST LLC, focusing on podcasting for customer and employee communications and training. Darren also served as a board member for the AHRD Foundation, supporting research in human resource development. Darren has also held various roles at organizations such as Law Seminars International, GoDaddy, Academy of Human Resource Development, and Avanade, where they have managed learning programs, led teams, and developed learning strategies.

Darren Short obtained a Master's degree in Education specializing in Human Resource Development from the University of Minnesota, from 1996 to 1998.
