Chris Topping

Chris Topping has a solid work experience in the data engineering field. Chris is currently working as a Principal Data Engineer at Kin + Carta. Prior to that, they worked at Lloyds Banking Group as a Lead Data Engineer, where they handled various roles such as Data Engineer, Teradata Engineer, and SME - Business Objects. At Hermes Parcelnet Ltd, they worked as a Business Objects Developer and later as a Commercial MI Analyst. Chris also has experience working at Freemans Grattan Holdings (FGH)/Otto Group as a Campaign Analyst and at Robert McBride as a Market Analyst Manager. Chris'searly career started at Datamonitor as a Researcher.

Chris Topping pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in International Management with German at The University of Manchester from 1999 to 2003. In terms of certifications, they obtained the following: Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate from Microsoft in December 2020, Learning Microsoft Cognitive Services for Developers and Learning Python from Lynda.com in 2018. Chris also participated in the Microsoft AI Skills Challenge, accredited by Microsoft, in 2023. Additionally, Chris attended an OpenHack event focused on Containers, organized by Microsoft OpenHack.
