Nitin Malik

Nitin Malik has worked in the technology industry since 2010. In 2010, they were a Flash Developer for CRASH!MEDIA Corp. and a Flash Developer for Organic. In 2011, they were a New Media Specialist I at TVOntario, where they worked in the Innovation department and for TVOKids.com, developing with technologies such as BB Playbook, Android, Wordpress, Drupal, Flash, and Brightcove. In 2012, they were a Developer at DesignAxiom Ltd. From 2013 to 2016, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Digiflare, working on iPad and iPhone apps for television channels and broadcasters. Nitin then moved to Kinetic Commerce, where they held the roles of Platform Engineer, Senior Platform Engineer, and Mobile Engineer (iOS). In these roles, they worked on server-side code using Elixir, PostgreSQL, and GraphQL, and also touched other backend, web, and mobile technologies.

Nitin Malik attended the University of Waterloo from 2004 to 2009, where they earned a BSc in Honours Science with Biology and Psychology Minors. Nitin then went on to Sheridan College from 2009 to 2010, where they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Interactive Multimedia.
