Becky Huckaby

Becky Huckaby, APR, Fellow PRSA, A.A.E., has served as the Vice President of Public Relations at the Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority since December 1997, contributing to strategic planning and daily operations for McGhee Tyson Airport and Downtown Island Airport. Responsibilities include acting as the airport spokesperson, coordinating media engagements, overseeing employee and community activities, managing internal and external publications, and developing crisis communication strategies. Additionally, Becky has held adjunct professor positions at King University and the University of Tennessee since 2007, teaching various courses in Public Relations and Communication. Prior experience includes a role as Communication Specialist at Laine Communications & Marketing. Becky holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies from East Tennessee State University and a Master's degree in Communication and Information with a focus on Public Relations from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
