Sylvia Ibarra Delgado, M.Ed. has a diverse and extensive work experience in the education field. Sylvia started their career as a Milwaukee Corps Member with Teach For America in 2011. From 2013 to 2015, they worked at KIPP San Antonio as a Founding Second Grade Level Chair, Spanish Curriculum Chair, and Assistant Coach for Elementary Sports. Sylvia then moved on to KIPP Chicago, where they held various roles including 5th Grade Math Teacher, 2nd Grade Teacher, and English Learner Case Manager from 2015 to 2019. Since 2019, Sylvia has been serving as the Managing Director of Multilingual Learner Services at KIPP Chicago.

Sylvia Ibarra Delgado, M.Ed. obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Loyola University Chicago, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Sylvia also pursued a Study Abroad program in Educational Psychology at the University of Buenos Aires in 2010. Later, they completed their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Urban Bilingual Education from Cardinal Stritch University between 2011 and 2013. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Education - MEd degree in School Leadership at Northeastern Illinois University, expecting to graduate in 2022.
