Benjamín F. Pérez

Benjamín F. Pérez has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Benjamín F. has been working at KIPP Public Schools Northern California since 2019, initially as a College Persistence Manager and currently as the Associate Director of Postsecondary Success for KIPP Forward. Prior to that, they worked at KIPP Bay Area Public Schools from 2016 to 2019, holding positions as a College Advisor and later as an Alumni Advisor. Benjamín also has experience at San Jose State University, where they worked as a Student Engagement Coordinator and Assistant Coordinator for Student Engagement and Intercultural Proficiency from 2012 to 2015. Before that, they served as an Online Coach for Avanza from 2010 to 2012. Additionally, Benjamín worked as an AVID College Tutor for East Side Union High School District from 2009 to 2011, an Academic Coach for Extreme Learning in 2008, and a Program Manager for TutorWorks, Inc in 2007.

Benjamín F. Pérez pursued their education diligently, starting with their Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies at Hartnell College from 2005 to 2008. Benjamín F. then continued their academic journey at San Jose State University, where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Spanish Language and Literature from 2009 to 2012. Not satisfied with their accomplishments, Benjamín furthered their studies at the same university, earning a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Spanish from 2012 to 2020.
