Alicia Jones has had a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Alicia started their career as a Human Resource Coordinator at Florida Hospital, where they recruited and interviewed applicants and provided support to employees and managers. Following that, they worked as a Piano and Vocal Teacher at Forest Lake Academy for three years. Alicia then moved on to Forest Lake Education Center, where they served as a Music Teacher and Choir Director, implementing various teaching techniques and strategies to engage students. Alicia's passion for music led their to join KIPP Houston, where they worked as a Choir Director for six years. Alicia then transitioned to KIPP Sharpstown College Prep as the Fine Arts Chair and Choral Teacher. Finally, they became the Fine Arts Director and Founding Choral Director and Teacher at the KIPP Foundation, where they also served as the District Content Lead. Throughout their career, Alicia has demonstrated their commitment to education and music.

Alicia Jones completed their Doctorate degree in Christian Worship at Liberty University from 2022 to 2025. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) in Music Education from the University of Central Florida from 2003 to 2007. Alicia'sundergraduate studies were at Oakwood University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Music and Information Systems from 1991 to 1995. Additionally, Alicia Jones pursued a Bachelor's degree in Music and Information Systems Management at Oakwood University and a Master of Arts (MA) in Music Education at the University of Central Florida, but the years of completion were not specified.
