Tim Davis

Tim Davis is the Director of Technical Services for Australia at Kirkland Lake Gold Ltd. Tim has over 20 years of experience in the mining industry, and they have been with Kirkland Lake Gold Ltd for just over a year. Prior to joining Kirkland Lake Gold Ltd, Tim worked for Newmont Goldcorp Australia as the Paste Transformation Project Lead. In this role, Tim was responsible for site paste backfill performance with more than 50% of 2018 gold Oz at risk. Under Tim's leadership, the paste performance increased by 40% in 2018.

Some of Tim's key responsibilities include triaging and prioritising activities to optimise paste fill placement aligned with production schedule, coordinating a matrix resourced multi-disciplinary team of site and regional personnel, and addressing tails quality and supply constraints. Tim has a proven track record of being able to successfully lead teams and projects, and they have demonstrated their ability to think outside the box to come up with solutions to problems. Kirkland Lake Gold Ltd is lucky to have Tim on their team, and they are confident that they will continue to be a valuable asset in the years to come.

Tim Davis has a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mining from Federation University Australia.
