Blaine Gorman

Blaine Gorman has a diverse work experience in talent management, talent acquisition, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEIB), and leadership development. Blaine started their career at Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, where they held various roles in talent advising, recruiting, and benefits analysis. They then transitioned to Big Heart Pet Brands, where they served as a Senior Manager and later Manager of Recruiting and University Recruiting. During their time at Big Heart Pet Brands, Blaine achieved significant cost savings and scalability, improved diversity statistics, and implemented tools and systems to enhance recruiting efforts. Blaine later worked at HelloSign and PresenceLearning as the Head of Recruiting and Director of Talent Acquisition, respectively. At The RealReal, Blaine served as the Director of Talent Acquisition and Leadership Development, where they successfully scaled the company and implemented various initiatives to improve recruitment and employer branding. Prior to their current role, Blaine worked at BG Talent Consulting as a Talent Advisor and Executive Coach. Currently, Blaine is employed at Kiva, where they serve as the Senior Director of Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, and DEIB. In this role, they have launched several talent initiatives, including career development programs, mentorship programs, leadership programs, and resource groups. They also play a key role in supporting a distributed workforce and creating a multi-year international hiring strategy. Additionally, they serve as the Chairman for the inclusion Committee and host a monthly podcast on people-related topics.

Blaine Gorman holds a BA in Communications & Management from Indiana University Bloomington. Additionally, they obtained an MA in Organizational Development & Educational Technology from the University of San Francisco. Blaine also holds additional certifications including the Korn/Ferry Lominger Interview Architect and the Korn/Ferry Lominger Leadership Architect 101, both obtained in 2013.
