Alberto Cortez

Alberto Cortez has been working in the cybersecurity field since 2019. Alberto began their career at Banco de Mexico as a Cybersecurity Auditor and Cybersecurity Analyst. In 2022, they moved to Klar, where they currently serve as an Information Security Specialist. Alberto also works at Merama as a Cyber Security Process Specialist.

Alberto Cortez obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Instituto Politécnico Nacional between 2012 and 2017. Alberto then went on to receive a Master's degree in Cybersecurity from the same institution between 2017 and 2020. In 2021, they obtained the ISO/IEC 27001 Foundation certification from PECB, and in 2022 they received the GIAC Systems and Network Auditor (GSNA) certification from GIAC Certifications.
