Andrea Fabry has over three years of professional experience in data engineering and analytics. In 2022, they began working as a Data Engineer at Klara. Prior to this, they were a Senior Analytics Engineer at Gemma Analytics from 2021 to 2020. During this time, they created the Data Access Scorecard and led cross-functional teams in a focus sprint. From 2020 to 2019, they worked as a Senior Data Analytics Engineer and Tech Lead of the Data Analytics Engineering Squad at VTS. Here, they wrote design documents for optimizing data warehouse performance and instrumented data models and dashboards for two critical company metrics. Andrea Fabry has a diverse education history, beginning with an undergraduate degree in English Studies and Arts Management from Eötvös Loránd University in 1991-1996. Andrea then went on to pursue a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from Stony Brook University from 1997-2005. In 2015-2018, they completed a MicroMasters in Supply Chain Management from MITx Courses. Most recently, in 2018-2019, they completed a Data Science Immersive program from Galvanize Inc and a Nanodegree in Data Engineering from Udacity.
