Rachel Ferst is the Director of Product at Klarna. Rachel has over eight years of experience in data analytics and product management.

Rachel started their career as an Operations Research Analyst at Booz Allen Hamilton. In this role, they applied analytical methods to help clients solve complex business problems. Rachel then transitioned to IBM Global Services, where they worked as a Senior Consultant for two years.

In 2012, Rachel joined Dex Media as a Senior Product Manager. In this role, they were responsible for managing the company's flagship SEM ad optimization platform, which served over 40,000 SME customers. Additionally, Rachel ensured that data-driven insights from the R&D team informed feature development across multiple products and that the R&D team's research furthered strategic business objectives.

After a year at Dex Media, Rachel moved to the Rubicon Project, where they served as Manager of Business Analytics. In this role, they managed the analytics for Rubicon's mobile ad-serving and real-time bidding (RTB) platforms.

In 2015, Rachel left the Rubicon Project to join EY as a Manager in the Analytics practice. At EY, Rachel focused on the delivery of advanced analytics solutions that enable businesses to make data-driven decisions. Her projects included forecasting, pricing, product performance, and process improvement.

In their current role as Director of Product at Klarna, Rachel is responsible for leading a team of product managers and designers who are responsible for delivering world-class shopping experiences to millions of customers around the globe.

Rachel Ferst has a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics & Economics from Reed College, a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research magna cum laude from Columbia University in the City of New York, and a Master of Science in Operations Research from Cornell University.

They are on a team with Nir Aravot - Director of Product, Consumer Growth & Loyalty, Daniel Lange - Senior Product Director, Consumer App Domain, and Josefine Edsbrand - Head of Design Operations. Rachel Ferst reports to David Fock, Chief Product Officer.
