Nathaniel Flory has a wide range of work experience. In 2021, they began working as a Student Success Manager, Partner Operations Manager, and Partner Operations Specialist at Knack. In 2020, they worked as a Coordinator for Parent and Family Programs at Florida Gulf Coast University, as well as a Customer Service Staff and Cashier at Publix Super Markets. In 2019, they worked as a Resident Director at High Point University. In 2018, they worked as a Summer Resident Director at Eastern Illinois University, managing a building of 520 residential spaces with five conference assistants. In 2017, they worked as a Center for Diversity and Inclusion Graduate Assistant at the University of West Georgia. In 2013, they worked as a ResSTAR Administration Team and Residential Assistant at the University of West Georgia, facilitating the social, academic, and personal adjustment of students to the residence hall and University.

Additionally, they have obtained a number of certifications, including Hospitality and Tourism Management from Florida Atlantic University in 2020, A to Z Grant Writing from The University of Georgia in 2017, Certificate in Counseling and Social Work from University of West Georgia, and Psychological First Aid from the National Child Traumatic Stress Network.
