Mariana Hovsepyan

Mariana Hovsepyan is an HR Generalist at Knox. Prior to joining Knox, they were the Head of Platform at Real Ventures, a venture capital firm with $330M of assets under management. In this role, they supported a portfolio of 100+ companies providing strategic support in key areas of growth such as operations, strategy, and marketing. Additionally, they managed a re-branding and web development project, supporting a new multi-fund strategy, from sourcing agencies to aligning key internal stakeholders and implementing the project across the teams.

In 2015, Mariana founded McGill X-1, a student-run accelerator program for early-stage startups at McGill University. As the Founder & General Manager, they were responsible for all aspects of the program, from recruiting and selecting participants to organizing workshops and events.

Mariana holds a degree in Commerce from McGill University.

Mariana Hovsepyan studied Information Systems at McGill University. Mariana then attended the Global Founders' Skills Accelerator at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Finally, they completed an exchange program at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella.
