Anne Remy

Anne Remy has been working in the wellness industry since 2021, when they became the Owner, Therapist, Trauma Sensitive Yoga Facilitator, Breath Work Facilitator, and Yoga Teacher at Spare Room Wellness. Prior to this, they were an Account Manager EMEA at Kognity from 2017 to 2021. Remy has also been involved in volunteering since 2021, when they became a Volunteer Counsellor at New Road Psychotherapy Centre and a Volunteer Support Worker at Clock Tower Sanctuary - Brighton & Hove. Anne was a Volunteer Counsellor at Faces In Focus UK in 2020, and prior to that, they were a Sales Associate and Account Manager Asia-Pacific at ManageBac from 2015 to 2017. Anne was a Teacher/Recruiter at Alexander Academy from 2014 to 2015 and a Leadership Team Member, Event Coordinator, Talent Recruiter, PR and Marketing Coordinator at The Gala from 2011 to 2014. Remy was also a Respite Volunteer at Jewish Child & Family Services from 2010 to 2011 and an ESL Teacher/Teacher Trainer at Chinese Mutual Aid Association from 2008 to 2010.

Anne Remy is currently enrolled in the MSc Humanistic Psychotherapy program at Metanoia Institute, which they began in 2019 and is expected to complete in 2023. Anne also holds a Bachelor's degree in Counselling Psychotherapy from Metanoia Institute, which they obtained in 2022. In 2021, they obtained a Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) Certification from Justice Resource Institute. Additionally, they are a Registered Yoga Teacher from Space Yoga School, which they obtained in 2021. Anne Remy also holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Northeastern Illinois University and attended Columbia College Chicago. Her certifications include a 500 hr RYT from Yoga Alliance Professionals, obtained in 2021; a Student Member from UKCP, obtained in 2020; a Level 2 Fitness Instructor and Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training from YMCAfit - Fitness Industry Training, both obtained in 2019; and a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) from TEFL Institute, obtained in 2007.
