Tipu Shahzad

Tipu Shahzad has extensive work experience in various managerial roles. Tipu started their career in 1998 as a Quality System Engineer at PIQC, where they provided training and consultancy on ISO management systems. Tipu then worked as a Production Manager at ZIL Limited, where they focused on improving manufacturing processes and achieving operational excellence. Following this, they joined Engro Foods Limited as an Engineering Manager, where they implemented plant maintenance programs and improved maintenance parameters. In 2012, Tipu joined Philip Morris International as a Manager of Operation, Planning, and Logistics, where they led capacity planning and implemented productivity and Lean initiatives. In 2014, they became a Production Manager at Europe Snacks UK and later progressed to roles such as Interm Factory Manager and Continuous Improvement Manager/Project Manager. Currently, they serve as the Manufacturing Director at Europe Snacks UK. Tipu also briefly joined Europe Snacks—kolak Snack Foods - UK as the Continuous Improvement Head in 2020. Overall, Tipu has a demonstrated track record of effectively managing manufacturing operations and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Tipu Shahzad completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, graduating between 1993 and 1998. Later, between 2002 and 2005, they pursued their Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Manufacturing from the same institution.
